Preparation |
Note: Fill nail holes, cracks and other defects with Cabot's Woodtone Putty after applying the first coat of this product for accurate colour matching. Remove stains, dirt, wax, grease and oil with mineral turpentine. Remove any polish with a suitable polish remover. Note: Previously coated interior timber with highly visible scratches, imperfections or surfaces that are severely worn must be sanded prior to coating. Bare Interior Timber Sand the surface smooth using 180 - 240 grit sandpaper. Sand only in the direction of the grain. Remove all traces of sanding dust. New Bare Timber Sand the surface smooth using 180 - 240 grit sandpaper. Sand only in the direction of the grain. Remove all traces of sanding dust. Previously Coated Interior Timber

Regularly check your coated timber for scratches, and signs of wear and tear.
When required, clean the surfaces with Cabot’s Floor Clean as per label instructions, and recoat with 2-3 coats of Cabot’s Cabothane Clear Non Drip for a longer lasting finish.
